Trying to Call or Email HUD Staff in a Distant Office? Two Tips for Using the HUD Locator Website.

Need to talk or send an email to HUD personnel in an office far away from Portland and know part or all of their last name? The HUD Locator website HERE may help you find their telephone number and their email address.

Two tips

1. List ALL staff in a specific HUD field or regional office. Use the pull down to find the office, by state and city. Then type in a star * (shift key and the “8” number key at top of keyboard). A list of ALL HUD staff in that office will appear, listed alphabetically.
2. Find anyone with a last name ending in a specific letter or combination of letters. This appears to work within an office and also appears to produce a list of ALL HUD employees nationwide whose last name begins with that letter or combination of letters. From the pull down menu select either “all HUD Personnel” or select a specific HUD office by geography. Then enter some or part of the beginning of a person’s last name followed by a * (shift key and the “8” number key at the top of the keyboard). A list of HUD staff whose last name includes the letter(s) you entered will appear, for the geography that you have selected in the pull down. Then scroll through the list to find the person you are looking for.
