Appropriations Bill Stalls: CBPP Estimates of Oregon Impact of Funding HUD at President's Request Level

News reports indicate that efforts to fund an omnibus appropriations bill have stalled because of a Presidential threat to veto an attempted compromise bill.

Previously, the Center for Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP) had provided some background information on the impact of funding HUD programs at the level requested in the President's budget.
That national analysis is HERE.

An additional state by state breakout of impacts is
HERE. Oregon impacts:
  1. Loss of 295 vouchers.
  2. 3,476 units of project based Section 8 at risk of not being renewed by owners.
  3. Loss of more than $2.5 million in public housing funding.
  4. Loss of more than $10.9 million in community development block grants.
