The tax forgiveness bill making its way to the President's desk for signature that I blogged about previously HERE has a hidden goodie.

The goodie is the existing prior short term ability to write off on your taxes the costs of mortgage insurance has now been extended to cover all of 2008 through 2014. The ten year cost of the goodie?: $570 Million.
