UPDATED 12 07: Wyoming Senator BARRASSO Fronts for Senator "No", Refuses Effort to Consider FHA Reform Bill.

UPDATE: 12/07: Congressional Record page HERE, reveals that it was Wyoming Senator Barrasso who blocked the FHA bill yesterday on behalf of "Dr. No", Senator Coburn.

UPDATE 10:40 AM :
During his sub prime announcement today, President Bush expressed his support for the FHA reform bill.

An effort by Majority Leader Reed to get the Senate to consider the FHA reform bill was stopped by one of the Wyoming Senators who blocked his effort to ask unamimous consent to consider the bill. (Once updated, the press log later today
HERE should identify which one of the Wyoming Senators objected).

The Senator objected on behalf of Oklahoma Senator Coburn, aka "Senator No", who previously placed a "hold" on the FHA reform bill--a bill supported by both the Administration and Democrats in Congress (see my earlier post HERE).

ERROR in spelling of Senator [HARRY] REED, it should be "REID".
