Senate passed this morning an amended version of H.R. 3221, which contains various programs/tax breaks to deal with housing foreclosure problems. Vote was 84 to 12 in favor of the bill.Senate bill will eventually need to be conferenced with whatever versions pass in the House (if any) so there is a long way still to go.
To see the amended version of bill as passed, I would suggest that you wait for a day or so and then look in Thomas HERE for the version of the bill with todays date.
