House Housing Reform Bill Being Considered by House Rules Committtee This Afternoon.

The House Rules Committee this afternoon is considering an amended version of the Senate passed housing reform bill as a prelude to full House consideration as early as tomorrow.

The amended House version under consideration with the Rules Committee this afternoon is HERE. (Caution, it is more than 600 pages).

Major sections added to the bill to deal with the GSE provisions recommended by the Administration last week include Sections 1116,1117, 1118, and 3083. There are a few other tweaks to the bill as passed by the Senate, but the GSE provisions are likely to be the most contentious.
