- $1.25 billion for project based rental
- $2.25 billion for Neighborhood Stabilization
- $1.2 billion for retrofitting Project 8 housing.
In the INTERIM, I have assembled several HUD related pages from SA 570, and Saturday's Congressional Record, HERE.
They include ALL the pages I could find that directly relate to HUD appropriations, PLUS one page of the tax provisions that relate to acceleration of low income housing tax credits. (As previously noted there also is a $2 Billion set aside within the HOME program for LIHTC projects).
There ARE other housing related tax changes, including the $15,000 credit for home purchases that are NOT included in these pages.
Editorial comment: As of Sunday 9 AM the complete substitute bill is not readily available on any Congressional website that I can find, including Thomas. While TARP transparency deserves criticism, Congress really ought to look also at how slow they were to post such an essential document.
