FHFA Proposes Reduced Housing Goals for GSE's and Wants to Allow Loan Modifications to Count, Too.

FHFA has announced, for public comment, reduced 2009 housing goals for the GSE's.

Moreover, FHFA now wants to allow loan modification to count toward the reduced housing goals.
