Loan Modifications Under Home Affordable Modification Program Guidance: Loan Mods Subject to Federal Fair Housing Law.
A new supplement issued last week tells servicers that loan modifications under the Obama Home Modification Program are subject to federal fair housing law, and requires servicer efforts to collect racial/ethnic data, with Fannie taking the lead. Read the guidance HERE.
