Most of the readers of this blog appear to have email subscriptions that produce a single daily feed of all blog posts for the previous day. I have set that email delivery time for early in the morning, 5-7 AM; there is no option I can see to customize individual user email delivery times or frequency.
But...I don't want to wait for tomorrow, I want to see posts as they occur.
For those who want to see blog posts as they occur, without delay, there is a RSS Reader subscription option that appears via a box in the top right pane of the blog, just below the email subscription option. (Image of what to look for is posted near the top of this post). This provides a continually updated "feed" of blog posts as they occur.
To subscribe, simply click on the "Subscribe in a Reader" line and several options will appear in the pull down box that appears. My current advice:
1.If your using Firefox as your browser: You will see a pull down menu that allows you to subscribe to the blog via Live Bookmarks (Firefox); MS Outlook; Bloglines, Yahoo, or Google. Choosing any of those will provide delivery options for your choice.
2. If your using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your browser: You will see a page with a series of icons for different services including Google, Yahoo, etc. Click on any of those icons to subscribe. TIP: I would NOT click on the subscribe via email box that appears below the different services as this will likely get you only once a day delivery.
3. Another option is to copy this URL (http://feeds.feedburner.com/OregonHousingBlog?format=xml ) into your browser address window and then drag it to the toolbar just below your address window. Simply clicking this link, at ANY time, will allow you to easily access the feed to see the latest Oregon Housing blog posts.
4. Final idea. The MS article HERE explains how to add a RSS feed into Microsoft Outlook. (Copy and paste link from #3 above to do so).
If anyone has figured out other options, or has a problem with delivery, please add comments to this post or email me.
