Little Known Fact: How Many PHA's Are There in the United States?

Over the years I have heard estimates about the number of public housing authorities in the US from 2,000 to more than 3,500.

So much for those estimates.

An advance notice of the renewal of an information collection from HUD HERE, appears to put the number of PHA's who have to collect that information (and your little known fact of the day) at 4,113.
