FR Comments Sought: New HUD Survey of Consumer Protection Gaps for HECM Borrowers; We Have Background and Anticipated Question Answered.

Today's FR has Notice HERE. Any comments are due by August 3rd.

600 HECM borrowers will be surveyed by phone for this HERA required survey.

I have obtained from HUD the justification sent to OMB HERE (MS Word format); it includes background about why survey is needed, an outline of the types of questions to be asked, and the anticipated questions the survey will help answer.
