HAP Approves New Payment Standards for Downtown Portland.

From HAP, HERE:

Effective mid-July 2010, the new payment standards are $516 for single room occupancy, $689 for studio, and $799 for one bedroom units. HAP estimates that this increase in the payment standard will have a positive impact on more than 250 Section 8 households currently struggling with the cost of living downtown.

Portland metro area proposed FY 2011 Fair Market Rents (effective Oct 1) are $675 for a studio and $783 for 1 BR. (see prior post HERE).
