Michigan Lagging in Hardest Hit Fund Roll Out, Spending Only $2.4 Million of Nearly $500 Million Available.

As long time Michigander, breaks my heart to see stories like this from Detroit Free Press HERE and HERE.
Quantcast
Nearly a year after President Barack Obama announced the lifeline for homeowners, little of Michigan's $498.6 million has been channeled to the people who need it most. Since the state's fund launched in July, $2.4 million has gone to 554 homeowners.
First story also says that website for Michigan Hardest Hit program now scheduled to go online in FEBUARY.  NOTE: Michigan received Hardest Hit funds MONTHS before Oregon, and Oregon HH website has been up since mid November, with first $100 million for Mortgage Payment Assistance program scheduled for COMMITMENT in February.
