Oregon Hardest Hit: Preliminary Word-14,000 Completed Applications.

In response to a question, OHCS staff has advised that by the Jan 14th deadline the Hardest Hit Mortgage Payment Assistance program received 14,000 completed applications.   

While staff did not directly indicate this, I would expect that some % of the completed applications will drop out, so the final number of accepted, eligible applicants would I guess be lower than 14,000. 

No word yet on applications by county vs slots; I would hope that information will be forthcoming this week, prior to the State Housing Council meeting on Friday. 

[Last time I saw Victor Merced I had predicted 15,000 applications, so this application level is "close enough for government work"]):
