Examples of Recent DOJ Fair Housing Cases That Used Testing.

I recently discovered that the Howard Law School Fair Housing Clinic has links to DOJ Fair Housing materials, HERE.

In looking through those cases , I discovered at least two cases within the last year that appear to use testing as the basis of complaints based on race bias in apartment rentals.

Directly from the DOJ website (excuse the formatting variations) below are links to materials related to those cases:

United States v. Biswas, et al. (M.D. Ala.)
summary       complaint       Press Release (4/21/09)      consent decree       press release (2/3/11)

United States v. Burgundy Gardens LLC (S.D.N.Y.)
  summary       complaint       press release (12/6/10)

(HERE is a link to all DOJ race based fair housing cases).
