DJIA Changes, First 3 Years of Obama Far Outstrip Bush Performance, How Come Not More Credit?

With the economy continuing to struggle it occurred to me today to take a look back at the change in the Dow Jones Industrial Average during the 1st 3 years of the Obama administration, compared to Bush terms 1 and 2 and also the complete 8 years of the Bush administration.

As table  I prepared below shows ( using data downloaded HERE)  the DJIA during the first 3 years of the Obama Administration has vastly outperformed the Bush Administration, for almost any comparable time period (and the entire Bush presidency).

Not clear to me why there hasn't been at least SOME  attention paid to this positive economic development.
