Projected Sequestration Impact on HUD Vouchers: Oregon Could Lose Between 2,400 and 2,900 Vouchers, Largest Loss of Subsidized Housing Ever?

CBPP has published a new report HERE showing projected impact of sequestration on the number of vouchers in use as of December 2012.

The projected national impact is a loss from a low of 125,000 to a high of 185,000 vouchers; the Oregon projected loss is from a low of 2,440 to a high of 2,997 vouchers. That would be a cut of 7.5% to 9.2%.

Based on my past knowledge and experience I believe this would represent the greatest loss of HUD subsidized housing in Oregon EVER.
