New NLIHC Housing Gap Report: Oregon and Portland Metro Rank Poorly, Seattle and Washington Better.

I extracted data from state and metro tables and sorted in Excel HERE and embedded below. (You may have to scroll down to see Oregon and right to see rankings) My analysis:


For 30% MFI Rental Households, 
 
Oregon Has the 4th Worst Ratio of Affordable and Available Units, 

and the 6th Highest Severe Cost Burden.
Washington State Ranks Better, With the 14th Worst Ratio of Affordable and Available Units, 
and the 26th Highest Severe Cost Burden.


Portland Metro Has the 11th Worst Ratio of Affordable and Available Units, 
and the 18th Highest Severe Cost Burden.
Seattle Ranks Better, With the 30th Worst Ratio of Affordable and Available Units, 
and the 37th Highest Severe Cost Burden.
