New Google site is HERE.

Looks like a compilation of many of the goodies that Google has to offer to the public sector.
This site is a guide to the tools and best practices that can help you reach, communicate and engage with your community. Most of these tools are free, so they can also help you do more with less

Google's CitizenTube Blog.

Google has begun CitizenTube, a YouTube blog that focuses on..
" two types of posts: the compelling political and social uses of YouTube that we see the community bubble up every day, and our own programming initiatives and partnerships in the political, news, and nonprofit arenas."
The CitizenTube blog is HERE. Many recent posts focus on the election turmoil in Iran, but another recent post HERE highlighted the Oregon 2059 project, a futures project related to Oregon's 150th anniversary and the Oregon Chalkboard project.


I will be adding a link in the right panel to CitizenTube.

New Google Public Data Search Demo.

Google has launched a new public data search tool. Initial data is unemployment, other data will be rolled out at later dates. More from the Google blog HERE.
