In my prior post HERE I indicated that TuboTax says my 2011 effective income tax rate was 18.89%, higher than Romney's 14.1% effective income tax rate.
New Forbes story HERE says Apple's effective income tax rate was 13.8%. (If this included any state or local income taxes, this would mean that their effective federal income tax rate was even lower).
Since I do so many data related posts, wonder if I can write off my home as a "data center"?

Off Topic: My 2011 Effective Fed Income Tax Rate Was Higher than Romney's.
I'm just saying....
According to TurboTax, my effective federal income tax rate was 18.89% for 2011, and I was happy to pay at that rate.
My rate compares to the 15.4% projected effective federal income tax rate for Governor Romney in 2011 (prior WaPo story HERE).
P.S. I liked his dad as Governor of Michigan and as HUD Secretary.
