HUD nationally has updated its Multifamily Contracts database as of 12/28/07, HERE. This database shows detailed information about each Multifamily [program area} project that gets any form of MF rental assistance. (It does NOT include rental properties receiving public housing or CPD funding alone). One limiting factor in using the national database is that it is in MS Access format.
HERE I constructed a MS Office 2007 Excel version of this database. Included is a break out of Oregon data in a separate worksheet, and also an Oregon pivot table allowing a wide variety of views of the Oregon data. File size is about 17 MB's. (One of advantages of Excel 2007 is that it has a new file format that produces smaller file sizes).
NOTE: To manipulate this data you need Excel Office 2007. If you use an earlier version of Excel you MAY be able to use the free MS compatibility pack to view this document. More information on the compatibility pack from MS is HERE.
