Senate Finance Committee Approves Stimulus Bill Mark Up, GSE/FHA Housing Counseling Provisions MIA.

Senate Finance Committee passed their version of an economic stimulus bill today, with vote planned for next week by full Senate. 

While text of bill is not yet available, news summaries I have seen, including Washington Post HERE, do not mention any FHA /GSE mortgage limit increase nor do they include any additional housing counseling funding. 

Changes from House version include reduction in amount of credit per individual or household, addition of seniors and veterans eligibility for tax rebate, doubling of maximum income eligibility caps, and addition of $6 billion in energy tax credits.
