President Threatens Veto of Housing Bill Being Considered by Senate.

In a Statement of Administration Policy HERE the President has threatened to veto the GSE /FHA Reform bill being considered by the Senate starting today.

In a joint statement HERE, both the Democratic Chair of the Senate Banking Committee and the Republican Co-Chair called the President's threat "disappointing" and expressed hope that the President will reconsider.

The Congressional Budget Office has posted HERE a new cost estimate for the Senate bill now being considered.
