Oregon FHA Snapshot Report Updated Thru May 2008.

The Oregon FHA Current Snapshot Report link in the right pane has been updated to include May 2008 data. This link will always contain the most recent 12 months data on FHA home loans in Oregon, including breakouts by county of all loans, all refinance loans, and FHA Secure refinanced loans (conventional loans refinanced into FHA loans).

Highlights from this months report, covering June 2007-May 2008:
  1. Total of 6,567 loans in last 12 months, with refinances helping 3,780 families.
  2. For last two months only, data on FHA secure loans is also available.
  3. Total refinance loans during those two months were 1,283. FHA Secure refinances (refinances from conventional loans) helped 1,027 families, so 80% of all refinances were FHA Secure refinances. [Not in the report, but from my data, in those 2 months FHA Secure loans made in Oregon topped $214 Million, an average of $208,000 per loan].
Link from prior posting of April data is HERE.
