Case-Shiller Index Shows Portland Price Decline is Moderating.

I don't have time to do a detailed analysis, but OregonLive Front Porch blog has a story with Portland data HERE.

The Standard & Poor's Case-Shiller index, released today, shows the region's home prices fell 13.9 percent in July compared to the same month in 2008. That's an improvement from June's 15 percent fall and May's 16,3 percent. The May figure capped 17 straight months of record declines and marked the biggest such fall on record.

But in the two months since, the Portland region has joined a national trend of home price declines lessening. The index's 10-city and 20-city composites have showed improvements for the last six months
