Oct 11 Recovery Act Jobs Reporting To Be Made Public: HUD Issues Guidance to Grantees.

New Recovery Act reporting requirements will be kicking in soon with the goal of making that new reporting available to the public on October 11th.

While problems with data quality are likely as new reporting begins, there is a concerted effort made to standardize job reporting required as part of this new wave of Recovery Act reporting.

While OMB is the final word on Recovery Act reporting (including jobs), HUD has issued additional jobs counting guidance to HUD grantees HERE. That guidance makes clear that ONLY direct jobs are to be reported, and NOT "induced" or "indirect" jobs.
