The workbook has a summary for Oregon HUD Recovery Act jobs (and spending) and Pivot Tables for both HUD and ALL agencies allow you to display the jobs (and spending data) in an infinite number of ways.
Caution: My JOB Totals Match Recovery Act State Tables, But Funding Awards and Funds Received are Different.
Since I downloaded data directly from Recovery.gov website not sure why some of my totals for funding awards and funds received for Oregon are different than the totals for Oregon that appear in Recovery website state tables HERE ,HERE, and [Oregon] HERE. The differences are shown in the table below:
| Jobs | Funds Awarded | Funds Received |
Recovery State Tables | 9,657 | $2,206,515,742 | $ 757,128,580 |
Oregon Housing Blog | 9,657 | $3,040,810,288 | $ 737,645,600 |
My take is that I have the data that adds to the totals I am using, but don't have the data that adds to the totals awards and funds received that appear in the state Recovery website tables.
At any rate, the JOBS information IS exactly the same in my Excel database and the Recovery website state tables, and if you really want to look closely at spending you can download ALL spending data from usaspending.gov website. (If I figure out differences later I will update this post).
