Excel Hardest Hit Unemployment Workbook Updated to Show Oregon Results from Applying Draft Florida Allocation Model.

I have added a new worksheet to the Hardest Hit unemployment related Excel workbook that I posted about HERE. (The Workbook remains at the same location HERE).

The new " Unemployment Factor, FL Model" worksheet applies the DRAFT Florida method of computing the unemployment allocation factor to Oregon data for 2009. (The DRAFT Florida allocation model double counts the ratio of local unemployment to the statewide unemployment rate for 2009).

In the new worksheet you will see two separate tables; one uses the seasonably adjusted unemployment rate and the other the unemployment rate without seasonal adjustment. (The link at the bottom of each table will take you to an explanation of the DRAFT Florida allocation model).
