Washington County PHA Invited to Apply for 25 Vouchers for Homeless Veterans, Boosting Oregon Total to At Least 340.

I recently received information that the Washington County Department of Housing Services has received an invitation from HUD to apply for 25 supportive housing vouchers for homeless veterans under the joint HUD-VA VASH program.

It is not clear if other Oregon PHA's received similar requests for what appears to be FY 2010 funding. [ If other Oregon PHA's have received similar invites, I would appreciate an email (housepdx@gmail.com) to advise me of who and how many OR the addition of a comment below this blog post).

From an Excel listing of prior VASH recipients on HUD's web site HERE, Oregon PHA's already have a total of 315 vouchers from prior fiscal years, so this would boost Oregon's total to at least 340. (see table pasted below)
