FHA Rule Tightening Lender Requirements Finally Coming Out in Federal Register.

More than two weeks after HUD announced the changes, the actual final rule tightening lender requirements for FHA lenders is scheduled for publication in tomorrow's Federal Register. (Related Seattle Times/Bloomberg news story about changes is HERE).

The advance public inspection document is available HERE. (This link may disappear after Monday, look in Tuesday Federal Register for actual publication).

(From Regulations.gov search HERE, it appears that at least 278 public comments were received on the proposed rule).

(Note that the rule also requests comments on whether FHA MF lenders with loans>$25 million should have higher net worth requirements).
