BIG CAVEATS :
- PR clearly says "cities", but I wonder if they are including all of metro area, or just core city?;
- Detailed data HERE makes clear that comparison is for 2 BR units, which would may not be the norm for sale market.
- Data also uses LIST prices not as sold prices, and Portland listed sales price of $307k and rent price of $1,145 seem WAY off to me. (Even with rent price including insurance).
