HUD FY 2011 FMR Rents Going Into Effect, No Oregon Changes to Proposed FMR's from Earlier this Year.

HUD has published the final FY 2011 Fair Market Rents used for the HUD Housing Choice voucher program. Those final FY 2011 FMR's are in effect tomorrow, October 1st.

My prior post about proposed FY 2011 FMR's is HERE; final FMR's for Oregon counties and metro areas did NOT change from the proposed FMR's. 

I am VERY pleased to see that the FINAL HUD FY 2011 FMR Excel County level data file HERE includes, in the far right columns, the percent AND dollar change from FY 2010; I had advocated for that change last year, and am pleased that HUD has now adopted this suggestion. Using this Excel data file for the first time it will be easy to add filters, sort, or do a pivot table showing which areas received the highest or lowest annual increases in Fair Market rents.
