1. I have ALSO received a copy (HERE) of related comments sent to LCDC by Housing Land Advocates for a separate December 2nd LCDC meeting. LCDC must provide prior consent to amendments to Metro’s Regional Framework before Metro can adopt its capacity ordinance. I suspect Housing Land Advocates will have more to say during Metro’s public review process of the capacity ordinance if LCDC grants consent to amend the framework.
I have ALSO received a copy (HERE) of a similar letter to LCDC with related issues from 1000 Friends of Oregon.

2. I have prepared a WORKING draft of my comments to Metro HERE in MS Word format. My comments include links to my earlier posts about the Metro Framework and Functional plan and community infrastructure investments that I made earlier as well as three specific recommended "Corrective Actions". (Once I finalize this I will post the dated final copy, but as time is of the essence I wanted to post the working draft today).
I encourage you to review these materials and send any comments you have to Metro, and to appear in person at the hearings to deliver you comments.
