WSJ story is HERE, says that Chinese have started only 3 million units of a 10 million unit goal for this year and that shortfall may impact Chinese economy.
The Chinese 5 year social/public housing goal is 36 million units. For some perspective, Wikipedia says HERE that total production in nearly 20+ years of LIHTC history in the US is 2 million units.
