In my prior post I mentioned that Brookings has an Excel file with detailed concentrated poverty data for 100 metro areas.
Unfortunately, like their website for this project, the Excel file layout makes it difficult to filter or sort the data.
I simplified the Excel file so that users can filter or sort the data; that file is HERE.
Worksheets include cleaned up data and a pivot, a link to the original Excel file, and the PDX suburbs, central city, and entire metro area ranking on one dimension:
2000 to 2008-12: Change in Share of Poor Residing in Tracts with Poverty Rates 20% or Higher.
