The data source is ACS 3 Year data for 2012 and 2010. The default opening view shows includes the State of Oregon and the cities of Portland, Beaverton, and Medford; you can change the geographies displayed by using the pull down list at the top row in each column. (If pull down doesn't work in the browser download the file and open in Excel).
All of the source data is found in the other worksheets in the workbook, there is a worksheet for the 3 year ACS for 2012, 2011, and 2010, an each worksheet includes the estimates as well as the margin of error. (US Metro and micropolitan data is included in those worksheets but I focused on Oregon counties and places and didn't look at that data).
The title of the first worksheet includes these observations about 2010-2012 Changes:
- Oregon Lost 17,000+ Home Owners and Had a 2.2% Reduction in It's Home Ownership Rate.
- Portland Lost 3,200 Home Owners and Had a 3.6% Drop in It's Home Ownership Rate.
- Beaverton Had a Home Ownership Rate of Less than 50% in Both Periods.
