2014 ACS Data is Out for Geos Greater than 65,000: Renter Cost Burden Examples for Oregon.

Thursday morning Census is releasing a new round of data, including housing data, that incorporates 2014 ACS data for areas above 65k population.  Data includes cost burden data AND a lot more.

As an example here is a query that returns overall renter cost burden data (Table B25070) and here is a query that shows (single year) 2014 renter cost burden data by renter household income range (Table B25074) for the following (926) geographies with population greater than 65,000:
  1. All States
  2. All US Metro Areas
  3. All Oregon Counties
  4. All Oregon Places
I also uploaded this data into Excel workbook HERE.
Notes:
  • This is 1 YEAR data, 3 year and 5 year versions of the same data may also be available later (I don't yet see at this early hour).
  • Similar data down to census tract level is scheduled for December release.
