342 Oregon HUD Projects, Minority Tenant % vs Minority % by Census Tract.

Building on my last post I put together a 15 page PDF HERE which lists by city and HUD program those HUD projects that have data on the share of minority tenants vs the share of minorities in the surrounding census tract. Minority tenant data is available for 342 projects.

I include a calculated column that shows whether minorities are over or under represented using that data. 

The PDF includes minority % data on 4 HUD programs: Project Based Section 8, Public Housing, Section 202 PRAC's, and Section 811 PRAC's.  

As previously, several caveats:

• Multiple projects are not included as they were missing minority tenant %'s.
• Data is only as good as the data in the underlying reporting systems, including both tenant data and CT data.
• Views and measures of minority over and under representation may differ. 
• The subtotals shown by city and program are not weighted by unit counts.
