SHS Quarterly Reports: In Half a Year Washington County Spent 26% of THIS Years Budget, Plans to Spend Only 75% this Year. $60 Million Could be Uncommitted at End of FY.

Kudos to Washington county for briefing the Commission on SHS quarterly spending in the package of materials HERE

However, in looking at these materials it appears to me:

That the plan is to spend only 75% of their $50 million budget this year, leaving about $12.5 million uncommitted. With half of the FY gone, spending is only at 26% of the total budget for this year.

The $50 million budget for this year does NOT include $47 million uncommitted from last year.

Unless some additional projects are funded this could mean that there will be close to $60 million uncommitted at the end of fiscal year in June.
