Metro's Technical Advisory Committee has a scheduled meeting on Wednesday May 5th at 10 AM in the Council chamber.
One of agenda items buried in the back of their package HERE (pgs 126-131) is a background briefing on plans to apply for a HUD Sustainable Communities Regional Planning Grant when the NOFA is released by HUD (now scheduled for late May 2010). Specific grant amounts and activities are suggested by these materials.
Ramsay Weit from the Washington County Affordable Housing Fund (HERE) is an affordable housing advocate on MTAC, and you may want to offer any thoughts about the plan as described to him by COB on Tuesday (and feel free to post them as comments on this blog post). His email is polwonks@comcast.net
